Add External Link to Main Navigation

Jul 6th, 2009

in Navigation

  1. In Wordpress’s Links panel, under Link Categories, create a new category to use for your new nav menu items. Call it nav (or whatever you want).
  2. Under Links>Add New, create your new link and assign it to the new nav category.
  3. In the Thesis Options panel, under Navigation Menu, expand the Add More Links section, and select nav from the dropdown.
  4. Click the Big Ass Save Button.

Now, any links in the nav category will also show up on your nav menu.
